Trail is being built as authoritative DNS hosting managed from Cradle and over the API. The plan covers the common record types, DNSSEC signing handled for you, and zone import. Final nameserver topology and SLA targets will be published at launch.

Trail is being designed with redundant nameservers so a single resolver outage does not take your domain offline. Final topology will be confirmed at launch.
DNSSEC without the key juggling
DNSSEC signing is part of the design, so you can turn it on without running your own key rotation procedure.
API-first management
Both Cradle and the API are first-class so you can automate zone changes from your deployment pipeline instead of clicking around.
