GDPR Compliance
PeaceWeb complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – “GDPR”). We collect, process, and protect personal data in line with strict legal and security requirements, as outlined in our formal Privacy Policy.
We process personal data based on the following legal grounds:
- Contractual necessity – to deliver services, manage accounts, and process billing
- Legal obligation – for tax, identity verification, and record retention
- Legitimate interest – to secure our platform and improve service quality
- Consent – for marketing communications and analytics where applicable
Collected data may include names, contact information, login credentials, IP addresses, usage data, and in some cases identification documents (e.g. for high-value or reseller accounts).
We do not sell or rent personal data. Select subprocessors (e.g. for payments, hosting, fraud screening) operate under strict data processing agreements fully compliant with GDPR. All personal data is stored in secure environments with access limited to authorized staff.
Data is retained only for as long as required under Dutch law or to fulfill contractual obligations — for example, billing data is retained for up to 7 years. Once no longer necessary, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
You have the right to request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, data portability, or to object to processing. You may also withdraw consent where applicable (e.g. email marketing).
